1. Stick harness in your pocket. You shouldn't excite your puppy at once with the sign of his new walking stuff. Make the process simplier and as controlled as possible.
2. Make your Doberman sit. If it is possible, hold him between your knees, face out, to control wiggling. Give him a treat.
3. Take the harness out of your pocket. Put the neck loop over the puppy's head, and one leg through the front leg hole.
4. Click the quick release buckle, adjust the front strap, if needed, and the harness is on correctly.
